Product Description

Product Description
Historic Cobram Estate is nestled on a tranquil bend of the Upper Murray River, an Australian region synonymous with fine food and wine production. Surrounded by an ancient forest of red gums, ordered rows of olive trees thrive in deep red soil and are bathed in a climate that is typically Mediterranean. Cool sunny winters and long, hot summers allow the olives to ripen perfectly. The grove was establishe in 1996 with 25,000 trees of Italian and Spanish origin including Frantoio, Coreggiola, Nevadillo Blanco, Leccino, Manzanilla, Koroneiki, and Arbequina.

The first oil of the new harvest has always been prized as the finest of the season. Selected olives, chosen for their exceptional oil quality are picked and pressed at optimum condition. The years' freshest, most aromatic oil is created, bursting with aroma, flavor, and character.

Cobram Estate premiere continues this tradition, their first, with selected oil from their 2002 harvest. This single estate grown and pressed extra virgin olive oil is fruity and fresh tasting with a subtle peppery finish.
